So as most of you know I am on this quest to lose weight. Not just to lose weight but to be FIT and STRONG and to NEVER AGAIN have to make the goal to lose weight! Mitz and I have made this goal together and I must say he is doing AWESOME!! But back to the reason for this post, as I mentioned this is one of my goals (again) this year. Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge scrapbooker. It is one of my most favorite things to do. So I have decided to scrapbook this year and every year the goals that Mitz and I make, the journey on those goals and the result. I thought this would be a great thing for our girls to see the work that their parents did to get to where we are and where we want to be. So this blog will help me to keep track of all the milestones, hardships, victories and most importantly help me to never go back to where I am today. It will also help me to scrapbook our journey. Which needs to get done because showing the before/now pics are not as fun unless they are with the after.
Anyways we started this goal 6 weeks ago. What we decided to do was to join the wonderful world of Weight Watchers because of the point system, it makes it easy... each food is worth a point but the downfall was you could eat garbage and then once you hit your points dont eat anything except veggies and still lose weight. Not exactly healthy. So I also have incorporated Body for life in the sense that I eat as clean and healthy as I can all week while I track points and then after Monday night weigh ins I get to have a cheat meal. Plus I am ideally supposed to work out 3 times a week.
This has been going good, but I have been getting comfortable thinking " I GOT THIS" well I feel like I have been slipping and not seeing the DETERMINATION, DEDICATION and INSPIRATION that I need to see from myself in order to make my dreams come true!!

This would be Mitz KICKING MY BUTT up hundreds of stairs on the coulee. Nothing brings me more joy then beating Mitz at his own game (whatever it may be) and NEVER letting him forget about it. The day will come that this photo will be reversed and Mitz will be sooooo far behind he will think that I haven't even started yet!!
Yeah he beat me here to... and I must admit he had already done the stairs 5 times up and down running AND an obstacle course up the coulee 5 times and he still beat me!! But like I said WATCH OUT!!!

What I Have learned so far....
  1. All the food that I thought I could not live without, like CHOCOLATE, burgers, pizza, ICE CREAM ect..... Really does not taste that good when it has been out of your system for a while.
  2. Eating DISGUSTING fast food is NOT worth the hour on the treadmill to burn off 1 burger!
  3. When you give your body what it NEEDS and WANTS your body in turn will give to you what YOU NEED and WANT. Which in my case is HEALTH and ENERGY
  4. It is not hard or expensive to eat healthy. It just takes a little planning and organization
  5. My Girls LOVE to see me workout!
  6. When you think you are 110% done you can still do more if your WHY is big enough!! Mitz taught me that.
  7. NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS SKINNY FEELS!!!

HAPPY EASTER!!
I know I am late... Its my blog I can be late if I want

I found these dresses at Childrens Place ( which is one of my favorites!) for half off!! I thought that they were super cute and my girls LOVE them!!
Mitz and Danea
Momma and her baby!! She really loves me the most as you can tell in the picture!! hahah

Ana kept on running away so we finally let her stand!! haha I LOVE MY FAMILY! I hope everyone had a great Easter.
OUR BASKETBALL STAR!

Mitz has been counting down the days since Zoe was about 2 and a half for the day she can play basketball on a team and he can be her coach! Well the time has come. Zoe started basketball this year!!

Besides having the ball hit her in the face I believe every single game and leaving with some sort or new sore, SHE HAD A BLAST! She started the year not being strong enough to get the ball to the basket and ended the year with 3 baskets in one game!!

My job every Friday night, as we watched Zoe play basketball was to contain 3 children who just wanted to be playing basketball with their dad like their sister. Trying to do this without looking like the CRAZY LADY WITH 4 LITTLE GIRLS is no small task!!
Sweet Danea who is pretty easy to handle seeing how she is tied down and cant move

Maria, she loved to pose for the camera and can wait until she turns 5 so daddy can be her basketball coach!!
Ana on the other had just wanted to be set free so she can run and do whatever she feels like!!! She made sure everyone knew when she wanted to get out of the stroller. Which was THE ENTIRE TIME!!
Ana thinks she is soo hilarious!!
and you can not stay mad at this cute little girl for long!! She is obviously sucking her thumb which she is not allowed to do and she knows it. Which is why she is smiling

The Best Ribs in the ENTIRE WORLD!

I found this recipe a while back on All Recipes.com. These ribs are FINGER LICKIN, FALL OFF THE BONE CANT GET IT OUT OF THE POT GOOD!!
You cant even go to a restaurant and get ribs this good. My entire family LOVES them, its a quick and easy recipe, I am sure it will become your new favorite!

Ingredients:
4 pounds pork baby back ribs
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup ketchup
1 cup bbq sauce
1 cup chilli sauce
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
4 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 dash hot sauce

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)
  2. Season ribs with salt and pepper. Place in a shallow baking pan. Brown in oven 15 minutes. Turn over, and brown another 15 mins: drain fat
  3. In a medium bowl mix together the ketchup, bbq sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and salt and pepper. Place ribs in slow cooker, Pour sauce over ribs and turn to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until ribs are tender.
All slow cookers are different but mine is closer to the 6 hours than the 8 hours and you will have lots of extra sauce!

ENJOY!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANA!!!!
Our Beautiful Ana has turned 2 YEARS OLD!! I don't know where the time has gone. Its seems like just yesterday I was on my way to the hospital for my c-section. Ana had decided to turn into a breech position and even though we did everything we could to try to get her into the right position she was having none of it!! She was positioned exactly how she wanted to be. Her personality has been STRONG WILLED, VIBRANT, ENERGETIC and STUBBORN since before she was born. She gives the BEST HUGS AND CUDDLES (when she wants to) Her SMILE will light up any room. She has no desire to be potty trained, cant wait to go to school like her BIG SISTERS and LOVES her baby sister so much that every time Danea crys, Ana thinks she is crying for her to come help her and races to her.

Thankfully we made it to Moms house safely, the roads were terrible and terrifying and I cried the last 45 mins there and wanted to turn around. Mitz figured since we were just about there anyways we should just keep on going and thank goodness we did because look how happy these little cousins are to see there Grandma!! Rylee is 8 months and Danea is 3 months
Sweet Maria
Ana loves to eat!! It amazes me how fast this girl can eat!!
It must be a pretty delicious cupcake
Ana
Rylee must be teething. She loved chewing on this little fishy
Grandma took all her granddaughters to see the Robert Munsch Books acted out. It was so funny we all had a great time!!
Grandma and her girls. Zoe, Reece and Ana

Grandma and Ana
Mom, being the loving Grandma that she is decided to sit on the very front row and watch the play with her little angels. Little did she know as soon as the opportunity arose those little angels volunteered their Grandma to be part of the play!! They loved watching their Grandma and when it was all over Reece turned to Zoe and said "oh grandma is soooo silly!"

Okay so I FINALLY have some pictures up and yes I know they are CHRISTMAS ones and Christmas is over but I am little late on this whole blogging thing. We had a WONDERFUL Christmas. We ATE way to much, SHOPPED until the very last minute, spent time with great FRIENDS and FAMILY, enjoyed going to the NATIVITY and when all was said and done Zoe was so sad that her WHOLE family was not together for Christmas. I think children know what the true meaning of Christmas is.
Ana Opening up Christmas Presents and way more
